Ethos Mechanical Inc. is a family-owned business located in beautiful Lac La Biche County, surrounded by lakes, forests and all things nature. We specialize in heavy-duty truck and trailer parts & repair, automotive parts & repair and towing & rescue services. Our 22,000+ sq.ft. facility is outfitted with large drive through bays, over head cranes, vehicle lifts and wash bays, located on 9+ acres of fenced yard.

Overview

We have two Heavy-Duty Mechanic positions to fill, one shop and one field. These roles offer the chance to work on a wide variety of vehicles and equipment ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

:

- Licensed Heavy-Duty Technician. Preference given to experienced Journeyman, but 3rd and 4th year Apprentices are welcomed to apply
- Work takes place onsite at our facility for shop mechanics
- Field mechanics utilize tooled service truck with crane, welder and air compressor
- We work on a large variety of makes, models and types of trucks and trailers
- Ethos shop is open 6 days per week, so there is opportunity to work additional hours

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repair on heavy-duty trucks and trailers




- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Carry out commercial vehicle inspections and repairs
- Enter into data base accurate records of parts, repairs and services performed
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain a clean work environment

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Standing, crouching and bending frequently

Pay: $40.00-$65.00 per hour
