Heavy Duty Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, experience working with a variety of heavy trucks and equipment, and take pride in quality workmanship.

We are currently seeking a 3rd Year Apprentice to Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic. A valid CVIP License is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

- Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, machinery, and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair air, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and resolve issues
- Work safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and professional
- Take pride in the quality of your work and the service provided to our customers

Qualifications
- 3rd Year Apprentice or Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools




- Comfortable working on a variety of heavy-duty equipment and brands
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
