Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This is a family owned and operated business. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction, excavation, and material handling projects.

Your expertise will ensure secure, efficient, and precise operation of equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, skid steers and rollers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while maintaining high safety standards and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, rollers and other machinery to complete project tasks efficiently and safely
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work workplace
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks,



prioritize work orders, and meet project deadlines
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities for record-keeping purposes

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, rollers, or similar equipment
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate

- Port Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
- Heavy equipment operation: 5 years (required)
