Journeyman / 4th year and 3rd HD Equipment Mechanic (Field Service ) -
Vancouver Heavy Duty was founded in 2015 with a straightforward mission: to provide the heavy equipment industry with a level of technical expertise and professional integrity that is often missing in the field. What started as a mobile service operation has grown into a comprehensive "one-stop shop," serving the most demanding sectors across Western Canada.
Our foundation is built on 20 years of hands-on experience and a deep-rooted passion for mechanical theory and problem-solving. We aren't just "parts-changers." We are Red Seal technicians who believe in a systematic, diagnostic-first approach. By prioritizing manufacturer service manuals, verifying OEM specifications, and checking the simplest solutions before diving into complex teardowns, we save our clients significant downtime and unnecessary costs.
From our early days providing rapid-response field service to the expansion of our 10,000-square-foot shop and laydown facility in Fort Langley, we have remained committed to quality and professionalism. Whether we are performing a 24-hour emergency repair on a remote job site or executing a major overhaul on a 50-ton excavator, we treat every machine as if it were our own.
Today, Vancouver Heavy Duty stands as a trusted partner for the civil construction, forestry, and marine industries. We take pride in our reputation for transparency, business integrity, and the technical rigor required to keep your fleet—and your business—moving forward.
