Nasittuq is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to join their team supporting the North Warning System in Nunavut. This is a unique opportunity to work in remote Arctic locations on a rotational schedule, operating and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment. The ideal candidates are experienced operators with a robust safety mindset, ready to contribute to critical infrastructure in challenging environments.

What You’ll Need

- Licensed Heavy Equipment Operator with Air Brake Endorsement (DZ Licence)



or valid Class 3 Driver’s Licence with Air Brake Certification
- Completion of Safe Backing training or ability to obtain certification
- Valid driver’s licence with satisfactory driving record
- Experience operating loaders, graders, dozers, dump trucks, forklifts, snow removal equipment, and similar machinery
- Experience with snow clearing and winter road maintenance
- Experience towing trailers and operating vehicles with attached equipment
- Ability to work in remote, industrial, or Arctic environments
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and workplace safety
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in remote Arctic environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain Enhanced Reliability or Secret Level Security Clearance
