We are seeking energetic and dedicated Highway & Local Drivers holding a Class 1 license to join our dynamic transportation team. Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for highway and local deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, secure, and unload freight using forklifts and heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including logs, manifests, and delivery receipts
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve any delivery issues promptly




- Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues when necessary
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load or unload freight efficiently in compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with highway and local routes
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads and working in various weather conditions
- Nice-to-have skills include certifications in forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, or automotive repair
