Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Childcare Educator to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in a private home setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while providing reliable caregiving support to families. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, responsibility, and a genuine love for working with children to foster their growth and well-being.

Responsibilities

- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs, ensuring proper meal presentation and hygiene standards.
- Assist with daily activities such as playtime, reading, arts and crafts, and educational teaching to promote learning and creativity.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing regular cleaning tasks including tidying up play areas, laundry, and household chores related to childcare.
- Provide attentive caregiving that includes supervising children during outings, naps, and indoor activities while ensuring their safety at all times.
- Support children with personal care routines such as dressing, diapering or potty training, and hygiene practices.




- Adapt caregiving approaches to meet the individual needs of children, including those with disabilities or special requirements.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about daily activities, milestones, and any concerns related to the child's health or behavior.

Requirements

- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or caregiving capacity; experience with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks while adhering to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Strong skills in cleaning and maintaining a hygienic environment for children’s safety and well-being.
- Demonstrated caregiving skills including patience, empathy, and adaptability to different age groups and needs.
- Valid background check clearance and relevant certifications in caregiving or early childhood education preferred.
