Integra Support Services is proud to partner with Community Living British Columbia (CLBC), a provincial Crown corporation that funds and oversees services for adults with developmental disabilities, ensuring high standards of care and accountability.

About the Role

Our Home Share Manager is responsible for working directly with our individuals, their families and CLBC to assist in the coordination of funding and residential support for individuals who live in a home share setting. This position is responsible for ensuring that the individuals’ physical, emotional, social, vocational and health needs are met. In addition, our leaders partake in regional committees and local community initiatives, such as Community Living Month events.

This is an opportunity to develop your leadership social service skills and build community capacity.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide overall leadership, supervision, and operational oversight for all Home Share locations across Vancouver Island.
- Conduct regular in-person visits to Home Share locations, with daily travel to various sites across Vancouver Island required.
- Monitor the quality, safety, and effectiveness of support provided in each Home Share environment and ensure services meet organizational and regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with individuals supported, families, Home Share providers, CLBC representatives, and other community partners.
- Provide guidance, coaching,



and ongoing support to Home Share providers to ensure person-centered and quality service delivery.
- Coordinate and monitor individualized support plans to ensure each individual’s physical, emotional, social, vocational, and health needs are being met.
- Respond to and follow up on incidents, concerns, and changes in individuals’ needs, ensuring appropriate documentation, reporting, and follow-up are completed.

About You

Qualifications:

- Post-Secondary school certificate, diploma or degree in social services is required. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years’ Service Area Experience (i.e., Social Services)
- Experience in a management or supervisory role an asset
- Proficient in MS office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Current First Aid Certification
- TB Test
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Use of personal vehicle required (business insurance with $3 million liability coverage)

- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse support needs, families, Home Share providers, CLBC, and community partners.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple Home Share locations, priorities, and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.

Abilities:

- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and respond effectively to changing or urgent situations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.




- Ability to build trust and provide coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback to Home Share providers.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle, with the ability to travel extensively between Home Share locations across Vancouver Island.

Working Conditions:

- This is a mobile, field-based position requiring regular and frequent travel to Home Share locations across Vancouver Island.
- Daily travel between multiple Home Share sites is required, with the ability to work independently in various community and residential settings.
- Work involves regular in-person interaction with individuals supported, Home Share providers, families, and external service providers.
- May require flexibility in scheduling to respond to urgent situations, changing individual needs, or operational requirements.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (Flex)
- On Call

Wages: $42 CAD/hour
