Hargrave Street Market Located in True North Square-242 Hargrave Street (Gusto North, The 44, The Good Fight Taco and the Rose Bar) is hiring enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals to join our team as Hosts.

In this role you will play an important part in delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout our restaurant and event spaces.

What to be excited for in this role:

- Welcome, greet, and seat guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring guests have enjoyable dining and event experience.
- Demonstrate robust knowledge of menu items, cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- Assist with food and beverage running to support servers and bartenders as needed.
- Set up dining areas for regular service, reservations, private events, weddings, and special functions.
- Handle cash, debit, credit, and POS transactions accurately while maintaining balanced cash records.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas, including dining rooms, bar stations, counters, and service areas.
- Restock supplies, glassware, beverages, and service items as required.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible liquor service regulations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and special requests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods and special events.




- Perform additional hospitality duties as assigned to support daily operations.

What we need from you:

- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, food service, or restaurant operations is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a variety of responsibilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling is an asset.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with restaurant and event service.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
