Job Overview

Homewood Suites by Hilton London is seeking two dependable, motivated, and hands-on Hotel Maintenance Handymen to join our team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the hotel’s guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, grounds, and building systems. These positions play an important role in providing a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
- Complete maintenance work orders assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- Repair drywall, complete painting and touch-ups, replace fixtures, and perform basic carpentry.
- Assist with minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance.
- Maintain guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and hotel grounds.
- Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and team members.
- Assist with emergency repairs when required.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with applicable health and safety requirements.
- Maintain tools, equipment,



and the maintenance workshop in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Report maintenance concerns, supply requirements, and project updates to the Maintenance Manager.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance, building maintenance, general repairs, or a handyman position is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, painting, carpentry, and general building repairs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding duties.
- Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
