Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle janitorial duties such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment for optimal performance.
- Conduct floor care activities like buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to preserve flooring quality and appearance.
- Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures or equipment and assisting with light maintenance tasks such as painting or minor repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly storing cleaning supplies and equipment after use.




- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Skills

- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial duties or facilities maintenance.
- Robust knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or industrial vacuums safely and effectively.
- Experience with commercial cleaning environments or industrial cleaning processes is preferred.
- Skilled in residential painting or minor maintenance tasks that support overall facility upkeep.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing special care or repair.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks over extended periods. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
