Our Safety Manager works closely with operations to make sure work is done safely, every day. This role provides trusted leadership, strengthens safety culture , and champions practical, people-focused solutions across the organization. We’re looking for a Safety Manager to partner with our mills, woodlands, and operational teams across the organization.

This role can be based out of any location we have an office or operating facility. Strong relationships are built on‑site, and this role involves up to 70% travel, depending on which Tolko office you call home. We value diversity at Tolko and know that experience and knowledge come in many forms.

Act as a strategic partner to operations and leaders on all occupational health and safety matters. Provide leadership and guidance to Safety and Asset Protection Advisors (Canada) and Safety Managers (U.Lead regulatory compliance initiatives across all Tolko operating jurisdictions. Drive implementation and continuous improvement of Tolko’s safety standards, with a strong focus on leadership behaviours and safety culture.

Partner with Woodlands Managers to develop and sustain effective contractor safety programs.



Coach and influence leaders at all levels to strengthen safety accountability and consistency. Lead development and delivery of occupational health and safety and safety leadership training.

Oversee our Claims Management Program to support injured employees and minimize disruptions. Report on safety performance, inspections, regulatory changes, and emerging issues to leadership, the Board, and external stakeholders.
