Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HTST Operator to join our dynamic food processing team. As an HTST (High-Temperature Short-Time) Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our pasteurization equipment, which is essential for maintaining food safety standards. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality products while adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor the HTST pasteurization system to ensure proper temperature, flow, and timing parameters are maintained throughout the process.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, including cleaning and sanitation procedures, to uphold food safety standards.
- Adjust machinery settings as needed based on process control data and production requirements.
- Document all operational data accurately, including temperature logs, process times, and equipment maintenance activities.
- Assist with packaging operations by ensuring products are correctly packaged according to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move raw materials,



packaging supplies, and finished products within the manufacturing area.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper sanitation practices, to prevent contamination and ensure a clean working environment.

Requirements

- Prior experience in food processing or manufacturing environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues quickly.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of sanitation procedures and food safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for measuring temperatures, quantities, and process parameters accurately.
- Knowledge of packaging processes relevant to the food industry is advantageous.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
