BPL Hydroseeding & Environmental, a division of Raincoast Erosion Control Ltd., is seeking an experienced Hydroseed Truck Driver to join our team. This is a full-time position based out of our Salmon Arm, BC yard, with travel to project sites throughout the BC Interior.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Secure operation of a hydroseed truck and associated equipment on highway, industrial and remote resource roads
- Loading, mixing and applying hydroseed slurry (mulch, seed, tackifier, fertilizer) to specification
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections, daily logs and hours of service compliance
- Water loading, tank management and hose and nozzle setup on site
- Routine maintenance, cleaning and minor field repairs of the truck and pump system
- Securing loads and safe transport of materials, hoses and small equipment
- Following all company, client and WorkSafeBC site safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
- Valid BC Class 3 driver's licence with air brake endorsement
- Clean driver's abstract
- Experience operating heavy trucks on gravel and resource roads




- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to travel and stay out of town when project work requires it
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a small crew
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

ASSETS
- Hydroseeding, vacuum truck or water truck experience
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- WHMIS certification
- BC-CESCL certification or erosion and sediment control experience
- Resource road radio protocol training

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
- $28.00 - $38.00 per hour, paid biweekly, based on experience
- 40+ hours per week with overtime available during peak season
- Subsistence and accommodation provided for out-of-town work
- Company-supplied PPE and tools
