The Resort

Municipality of Whistler offers a casual Skate Host role in their Recreation department, reporting to the Guest Services Coordinator. Candidates should demonstrate strong ice-skating abilities and a passion for guest service. This role requires availability for at least two shifts weekly, including weekends, for effective service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise ice activities and maintain safety for guests
- Conduct skate rentals and assist with equipment use
- Enforce operational rules and provide first aid when necessary
- Keep the skate shop and lobby organized and presentable
- Engage positively with guests and staff to foster community Requirements:
- Must possess strong ice-skating skills
- Previous experience in guest service preferred
- Current Emergency First Aid certification required
