In this Specialist position, you will focus on the National Indigenous Strategy's implementation and coordination within the Corporate Development Department.
Your role is vital in tracking progress, managing documentation, and supporting engagement with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. Collaboration and organizational skills are critical as you work independently and assist other departments. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of the National Indigenous Strategy
- Support key projects like the Reconciliation Fund and more
- Manage agendas and minutes for internal meetings
- Coordinate logistics for community engagement sessions
- Update and maintain internal resources and records Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields
- 3 to 5 years of project coordination experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- Understanding of Indigenous community dynamics
