Kandrea Insulation & Scaffolding is looking to recruit ambitious Experienced Apprentice (Level 3) Scaffolders for a project in Nothern Alberta.

Scaffolders erect and dismantle temporary work support platforms or structures that hold workers, tools, equipment, and construction components.

Candidates must possess CSTS 2020, Fall Protection, H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS 2015 and Drug and Alcohol test/Mask Fit Test.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Work at heights with proper safety restrain
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Understands, identifies and describes the components and materials used in an Industrial system
- Must be able to follow direction and work with minimal supervision
- Must be in good physical condition and able to work at heights
- Must be able to communicate and work effectively with other trades
- Identifies, defines, and applies information found on ISO and P&ID; drawings for the application of insulating materials without supervision
- Safety is everyone’s responsibility and you are responsible to look out for yourself and those around you

Education & Experience

- Post-secondary or technical training is an asset
- Safety tickets including: CSTS 2020, Fall Protection, H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015, First Aid

Working Conditions

- Lifting, bending, climbing
- Ability to be exposed to various types of work environments
- Use of various shop equipment and trade-related hand tools
- Use of ladders or scaffolding
- Working in confined spaces
- Working with WHMIS products and materials
- Use of specialized PPE such as respirators, coveralls and safety glasses
- Be able to travel and go to different sites around Western Canada
