We are seeking an experienced IS Security Architect to serve as the enterprise security architecture authority for a large, complex organization. This individual will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise across security initiatives, helping shape and advance capabilities spanning cloud, identity, network, application, and data security.

The ideal candidate brings a solid architecture background, a practical risk-based approach, and the ability to influence stakeholders across both business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain the enterprise security architecture framework aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead the design and implementation of Zero Trust architecture across identity, devices, networks, applications, and data.
- Drive adoption of SASE/SSE technologies, including SWG, CASB, ZTNA, and DLP solutions.
- Partner with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to embed security throughout the technology lifecycle.
- Design and enhance security logging, monitoring, and SIEM architecture capabilities.
- Align security solutions with PCI DSS, NIST CSF, and internal risk management frameworks.




- Support incident response activities, investigations, and post-incident reviews.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and help drive the adoption of AI-enabled security capabilities.
- Act as a technical escalation point and mentor security team members on complex security challenges.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in a Security Architect or Security Architecture leadership role.
- Proven experience designing and implementing Zero Trust and SASE/SSE architectures.
- Strong expertise with Entra ID, IAM, and PAM solutions.
- Experience with cloud security technologies including CSPM, CWPP, and SSPM.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security controls, risk management, and architectural decision-making.
- Experience supporting incident response and operational security teams.
- CISSP, relevant security certifications, degree, diploma, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Knowledge of TOGAF, SABSA, or related architecture frameworks is considered an asset.
