Pay: $27.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on directly related experience

Shepherd’s Design Center is looking for an organized, personable, and proactive Installation Coordinator to guide customers through the delivery and installation stage of their projects.

This important role bridges the gap between our customers, Sales Team, Shipping and Receiving department, suppliers, installers, and subcontractors. You will coordinate the details that turn a customer’s design plans into a successful finished installation—from receiving and work order verification through delivery, installation coordination, and final follow-up.

What you’ll do

- Coordinate daily home installations, job-site work, warranty service, and specialty projects.
- Introduce yourself to customers and serve as their main installation contact.
- Coordinate with customers, installers, subcontractors, suppliers, sales staff, and Shipping and Receiving.
- Organize product receiving, work order verification, deliveries, and installer work.
- Schedule installations and clearly communicate appointment details to customers and project partners.
- Maintain the installation calendar and customer database each day.
- Keep customers and team members informed of project status, changes, issues, and delays.
- Answer telephone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Respond to customer concerns immediately and coordinate appropriate solutions.
- Notify the salesperson when an issue or delay affects their customer or project.




- Prepare explicit installation reports for management, ownership, and the Sales Team.
- Provide installation updates and check in regularly with sales on updates
- Coordinate with the Design Centre Concierge regarding customer communications about product or installation delays.
- Develop positive, respectful working relationships with customers, colleagues, installers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

- Previous experience in coordination, customer service, installations, construction, home improvement, design, or a related environment is an asset.

About the work This is primarily an in-office role with regular full-time permanent work. Must have reliable transportation for to and from work.
