We are looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable Claims Supervisor who mainly will focus on prompt, efficient, and thorough resolutions of our freight and equipment claims.

Responsibilities:

- Overseeing the processing of transportation claims submitted by customers, clients, or other stakeholders
- Responsible for investigating and resolving customers’ freight issues, which may include claims for damaged or lost freight.
- Reviewing claim documentation, assessing claim validity, and ensuring information is gathered
- Complete freight claim paperwork with transportation provider—both paper or electronic.




- Process checks and ensure all parties are paid in a timely manner when a claim is resolved
- Provide proactive education to the drivers in order to decrease future freight claims
- Provide written and verbal communication to all involved parties
- Prepare reports and analysis to provide insights into claims trends, settlement amount or other relevant matrix.
- Stay updated on applicable laws and guidelines to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

- Minimum one year of freight claims experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Outstanding problem solving and negotiating skills
- High level of computer proficiency- Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent administrative and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in fast paced, performance driven environment
- Strong planning and organizing skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and desire to succeed
- Strong team player
