Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Insurance Sales Agent who is fluent in Chinese to join our energetic team. Duties

- Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including community events, networking, and direct outreach to generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct retail sales to Businesses by presenting insurance products clearly and confidently, ensuring clients understand their options.
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to follow up with leads, schedule appointments, and promote insurance services effectively.
- Analyze client needs through active listening and detailed assessment to recommend appropriate insurance policies.
- Maintain strong communication skills to explain complex insurance concepts in an understandable manner across multiple languages, including Chinese and English
- Negotiate policy terms and pricing with clients to close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Support sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and managing follow-up activities to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Develop relationships with centres of influence such as real estate agents, car dealers etc




- Utilize social media to market to Chinese prospects

Qualifications

- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance industry or related fields.
- Multilingual proficiency in Chinese is essential. Must be excellent with English
- Strong analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with diverse customers.
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client engagement.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and sales techniques to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Experience with sales administration tools and processes to ensure accurate record keeping and follow-up.

Pay: $35,200.00-$117,300.53 per year

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:
- sales or customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Language:
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese plus excellent English (required)

Licence/Certification:
- OTL and/or LLQP (preferred)
