The Stratford Country Club, a long-standing year-round community sports & event facility, is looking for dynamic individuals to join our team. Our operations includes many different streams:

We are looking for energetic, friendly individuals to be a part of our busy hospitality department. Individuals that have a professional demeanor, positive attitude and are willing to learn recent things.

Job Summary: Irrigation Tech position is responsible for maintaining the irrigation system and watering the golf grounds but not limited to:

- Repairing PVC pipe, fixing leaking heads, repairing equipment associated with irrigation
- Preform preventative maintenance on Irrigation equipment
- Train and supervise staff assigned to irrigation tasks
- Maintain inventory of parts needed for irrigation
- Irrigates all grounds as needed
- Preform other golf course duties as needed
- Ensures SCC Health & Safety policies, WHIMIS training and standards are followed.

Position Specifications:

Organizational and time management

Experience and knowledge of irrigation system management

Experience and knowledge or irrigation equipment repairing and troubleshooting

Good communication skills

Work Environment: Works in outside, can be very hot during the summer months, working in wet conditions, as well.

Hourly Rate: $20-22/hour based on experience.
