Credence Construction Ltd. is based out of Yorkton, SK and specializes in industrial mechanics, welding, fabrication, ironworking, carpentry / concrete, scaffolding and other like-trade related fields. We provide ongoing facility maintenance, shutdowns, small to mid-sized capital construction, as well as breakdown and emergency services to client facilities primarily in the agricultural and industrial mining industries.

Join our dynamic team as an IT Consultant, where you will lead and oversee all technology related aspects within the company. The focus of this role is to maximize efficiency while ensuring and maintaining the highest standards of security, uptime, reliability, and use of cutting-edge technology to facilitate business sustainability and growth.

The position will be paid on an hourly basis ranging from $38 to $50 per hour. The successful candidate will be hired under a Part-Time Casual Status with the potential of moving to permanent full-time as the company grows and technical needs expand. Full-time staff are provided with benefits and an annual Deferred Profit-Sharing Plan (DPSP) contribution.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities / Competencies:

· Must possess a Diploma or Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Sciences or similar education and training in related fields

· Must possess Microsoft Certifications relating to Server / Software Products

· Capable of developing and maintaining IT strategies and policies

· Capable of high-level troubleshooting and support as well as delegation of duties as required





· Capable of managing and improving IT processes to achieve day-to-day efficiencies

· Capable of developing and maintaining network usage and security policies as well as technical equipment inventories and records

· Must ensure security of data, network access and backup systems including but not limited to disaster recovery, business continuity, threats, and security.

· Capable of managing sub vendor relationships such as 3rd Party IT Support and Microsoft Licensing

· Capable of working in a team setting or alone

· Capable of mentoring new users with desktop support tasks such as troubleshooting software problems and configuring devices

· Capable of communicating and cooperating with clients, staff, public, and / or any other individuals encountered throughout our regular daily operations.

· Capable of clearly explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.

· Must have proven experience in providing IT support with a strong understanding of operating systems and problem-solving

· Capable of multi-tasking and managing changing priorities

· Must possess a robust work-ethic

· Capable of travel and working on the road as required.

Experience

- IT Management : 5 years (preferred)
- IT Administration: 5 years (preferred)
- Data Storage, IT Networking, and System Backups: 5 years (preferred)
