We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with AI Tools Experience to join our team in Montreal. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building production-grade backend applications, designing scalable distributed systems, and leveraging modern AI/Agentic AI tools to develop innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based backend systems.
- Build scalable, reliable, and distributed applications for production environments.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered and Agentic AI solutions into business applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Work with relational and document-oriented databases.
- Utilize Linux/Unix environments and scripting for development and deployment activities.
- Follow software engineering best practices, design patterns, and DevOps principles.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
- Robust expertise in Core Java and distributed system design.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL/document-oriented databases.
- Strong Linux/Unix and scripting skills.
- Experience with Agentic AI development, AI tools, or AI-driven applications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
