Be Part of Something New!!!! Spirit Bears is entering an exciting new chapter as we transition from a pre-established centre into Spirit Bears Early Learning Centre .
We already have a wonderful team of educators, and we are looking for someone who wants to help us build and grow our program together .
This is an opportunity to have a real voice in creating a program that is:
- Emergent and responsive to children's interests and ideas
- Inquiry-based, encouraging curiosity, exploration, and discovery
- Project-based, allowing children's interests to grow into deeper learning

Qualifications Basic ECE Additional Qualifications We are looking for someone who:
- Has knowledge of the BC Early Learning Framework
- Can create meaningful provocations inspired by children's interests, ideas, and questions
- Has a genuine passion for working wih young children
- Is flexible, adaptable, caring, dependable, and team-oriented
- Communicates positively with children, families, and colleagues
- Is available to provide substitute coverage when needed
- Is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
Years Experience Required 1
Required Experience
- Is a certified ECE or ECEA in BC
- Has 2+ years of experience in early childhood education or a related field
- Holds current First Aid certification
- Has a clear criminal record check
Salary & Benefits What We Offer
- $19–$20/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- $6/hour ECE Wage Enhancement, where eligible
- 5 paid sick days
- 6 paid professional development days
