Job Summary

We're looking for a Journeyman Heavy-Duty Technician or 4th Year Apprentice to join our busy, full tooled-up shop. We work on almost everything in the heavy-duty world, so there's always something new to learn and plenty of opportunity to keep your skills sharp. Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including inspections, fluid changes, filter replacements, and system adjustments to maximize equipment lifespan.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to execute repairs accurately and efficiently.




- Conduct heavy lifting operations safely using appropriate rigging techniques and heavy equipment operation skills.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, hydraulic components, engines, transmissions, and mechanical assemblies to identify issues.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all repair activities; maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair status, parts needed, and maintenance recommendations.

Experience

- Trouble shooting, diagnostic skills, and repair experience.
- Strong problem solving.
