Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Journeyman/woman Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining our reputation for excellence in automotive service.

Duties

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on both domestic and imported vehicles using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex vehicle systems




- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment during repairs or maintenance procedures
- Maintain detailed repair records and communicate findings clearly to customers
- Assist with vehicle assembly or disassembly as needed for repair or inspection purposes

Skills

- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base
- Skilled in welding, using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing maintenance tasks that require strength and stamina
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures across various vehicle makes and models
- Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics systems and electronic troubleshooting
