Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our team and support our financial operations. This entry-level role offers an exciting chance to develop your accounting skills within a dynamic healthcare environment. You will assist with essential bookkeeping tasks, account reconciliations, and financial record management, contributing to the smooth functioning of our financial services.

Responsibilities

- Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data and identify discrepancies promptly
- Support account analysis and prepare reports related to budgeting and financial performance
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, invoices, and receipts in compliance with company policies




- Aid in payroll processing and related documentation to ensure timely and accurate employee payments
- Collaborate with senior accountants during auditing procedures by providing necessary documentation and data
- Help with general bookkeeping duties, including data entry and ledger maintenance

Skills

- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft
- Basic understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
- Strong attention to detail for account analysis and data accuracy
- Knowledge of corporate finance principles and bookkeeping practices
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new accounting systems and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and supporting financial reporting
