We are looking for a Junior Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and negotiation skills. If you are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical abilities, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Assisting in reviewing project plans, drawings, and specifications
- Performing takeoffs and calculating material and resource quantities
- Gathering pricing for materials, labor, and subcontractor services
- Supporting the Senior Estimator in preparing draft estimates and proposals
- Conducting basic site research and assessing project requirements
- Organizing estimate documentation and maintaining pricing databases
- Helping prepare bid submissions and tracking bid outcomes
- Coordinating with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and availability
- Communicating with project teams to align estimates with goals and timelines




- Utilize software such as Sage 100 and Bluebeam for estimating purposes
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project bids
- Engage and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to secure and validate pricing inputs

Skills
- Proven experience in Construction estimating
- Electrical installation in commercial, industrial construction
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities
- Able to independently perform full takeoffs, pricing validations, and proposal compilation.
- Basic knowledge of estimating software (Sage 100 and Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of professional judgment
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable engaging directly with subcontractors, vendors, and clients during the proposal phase.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail in documentation, version control, and internal process compliance.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team
