About us:

Market Jar Media Inc. is a digital advertising agency located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. We are hiring a Junior Editor to assist with content creation for our vast portfolio of clients. You will have the opportunity to work with clients in many new and exciting industries (from crypto, food & beverage, AI, cannabis, psychedelic research, and everything in between).

The Ideal Candidate:

As a Junior Editor, you will be responsible for creating and editing engaging, highly readable, and accurate content. This role sits at the intersection of finance, digital marketing, and creative writing. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop a deep expertise in capital markets communication.

Your creative thinking and proactive mindset will help you succeed, along with the ability to understand clients and their needs. In this role, you will manage timelines and assist with other departments to deliver successful digital marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience writing in an agency environment. This role is best suited for someone who appreciates a quick-paced environment. Candidates should possess the following traits:

- The ability to organize priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Management of multiple projects at a time
- Strong verbal/written English
- Attention to detail
- Moderate experience with Google Workplace (google docs, calendar, gmail)





Strong communication skills are required as you will be sitting in meetings with C-level executives and communicating directly with clients, in-house staff and third-party vendors on a daily basis. To succeed in this role, you will have experience with managing multiple projects at a time. It is a major plus if you have advanced knowledge of investing, stocks, and/or some level of familiarity with today's hot investing markets. You don't have to be a finance expert, but some level of familiarity with how the stock market works is a huge advantage.
