ABOUT EMPLOYER

Bowes Media inc, located in Montreal qc, is looking for 1-2 junior editors to join its editing team. Our editors work in a cohesive cooperative editing space where junior and senior editors work together on large scale, corporate, branded and docu-series works. LANGUAGE: English and/or French

EXPECTED TASK

- Edit rough cut section of long and short form edits as directed.
- Versionize After Effect templates designed for specific projects
- Logging / project management tasks
- Preparing supporting documentation when needed

QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in video editing.
- Formal education in TV/film or related preferred




- Proficiency with Resolve (primary editing software), And Adobe Creative Suite
- Interest/knowledge of Sports, Action sports, Motor-sports a plus
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- high level of attention to detail.
- Highly organized and capable of following pre-determined work-flows.
- Ability to take directions.
- Pop culture and cultural editing style awareness

REQUIRED

- Ability to travel to our editing facilities. No remote editing for new team members.
- Video Samples of work or Show Reel.
