Burnaby Lake Physical Therapy is a new, modern, performance-focused multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic located in Burnaby, BC. We are looking for a motivated and passionate Kinesiologist to join our multidisciplinary practice on a full-time or part-time independent contractor basis.

We are creating a clinic where practitioners have the space, equipment, flexibility, and support to provide high-quality one-on-one care while developing their own clinical practice.

About the Clinic

Burnaby Lake Physical Therapy is built around active rehabilitation, movement, recovery, and performance.

Our approach combines physiotherapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and other complementary healthcare services to help clients recover from injury, restore function, improve physical capacity, and return to the activities they enjoy.

As a multidisciplinary practice, we believe collaboration between healthcare and rehabilitation professionals provides patients with a more comprehensive approach to recovery and long-term health.

What You'll Do

As a Kinesiologist, you will:

- Conduct functional and physical assessments
- Assess movement, strength, mobility, endurance, balance, and functional capacity
- Develop individualized active rehabilitation and exercise programs
- Deliver one-on-one exercise-based rehabilitation sessions
- Prescribe and supervise therapeutic and corrective exercises
- Develop strength, conditioning, mobility, and performance programs
- Assist patients recovering from sports and orthopedic injuries
- Support return-to-work and return-to-activity programs
- Assist with return-to-sport and performance training




- Work with patients following motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries where appropriate
- Educate clients on exercise, movement, injury prevention, and self-management
- Monitor client progress and modify programs as required
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicate and collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals
- Provide professional, motivating, and patient-centered care
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients

Who We're Looking For We are looking for a Kinesiologist who is:

- Passionate about exercise, movement, rehabilitation, and human performance
- Interested in active rehabilitation and exercise-based care
- Interested in sports, orthopedic rehabilitation, and athletic performance
- Comfortable working with individuals with a wide range of abilities and conditions
- Interested in helping clients return to work, sport, and everyday activities
- Strong in exercise prescription and movement analysis
- Motivated, energetic, and personable
- An excellent communicator
- Committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care
- Self-motivated and interested in professional growth




- Interested in building and developing their own client caseload
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- A new graduate or experienced Kinesiologist

- Degree in Kinesiology or a related field
