Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring a clean, organized, and effective environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Support chefs and cooks with basic cooking duties as needed
- Organize and restock supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers
- Follow all safety guidelines and sanitation procedures diligently
- Help with dishwashing and cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic workspace




- Assist in setting up dining areas or catering events if required

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team
- Valuable physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards is a plus
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills
