Duties

- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients for daily meals
- Support cooks in cooking and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and hygiene procedures
- Serve food efficiently to ensure timely delivery to customers or dining areas
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying supervisors when stock is low




- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working setting for everyone

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently in a busy kitchen setting
- Strong attention to detail when serving and preparing food items
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
