Duties
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to ensure efficient meal assembly
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions to prepare dishes with precision and care
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Serve food to customers or staff in a friendly and qualified manner, ensuring timely delivery
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Support the team during busy service periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Contribute to inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages
Requirements
- Minimum 2 Years previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting, and bending
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a dynamic setting
- Basic knowledge of serving practices and customer service principles is a plus
