Responsibilities

- Prepare handmade meat buns and other dough-based items
- Mix, knead, portion, and prepare dough for daily service
- Prepare dumplings, Chinese rolls, and other menu items as required
- Assist the chef with daily food preparation, cutting, and kitchen duties
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and kitchen area
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures
- Assist with other kitchen duties during busy periods

Requirements

- Fluent Chinese (Mandarin)

- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and have a valid work permit/status
- Previous kitchen, dough-making, or Chinese restaurant experience is strongly preferred
- Comfortable with physically demanding kitchen work, including standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
