Duties

- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients under supervision.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by ensuring all items are ready for use.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Help with stock rotation and inventory checks for kitchen supplies.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Skills





- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality environments, particularly in kitchens or food service roles.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues.
- Familiarity with food service equipment and dishwashing machinery is advantageous.
