We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team.

The Kitchen

Steward plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This position supports food service operations by ensuring all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall quality and safety of food preparation. Ideal candidates will have a passion for cleanliness, strong work ethic, and an interest in hospitality and food service.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for cleaning dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, and storage areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and setup.
- Support the kitchen team in organizing supplies and ensuring all items are stored properly.
- Follow safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to maintain a tidy workspace.




- Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.

Skills

- Experience in restaurant or hotel kitchens is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards.
- Basic understanding of food handling, preparation, and safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food safety standards.
