Gail's Flowers and Event Decor is seeking motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our seasonal event crew. This is a fast-pace, hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, working as a part of a team, and being part of stunning event transformations.

-Must be available on weekends (May-November)

Responsibilities

Setup:

-Assist with event setup and breakdown

-Load and unload event decor, rentals, and equipment for event

-Safely transport and carry items such as: tables, chairs, linens, backdrop items, florals and decor pieces

-Execute event set ups according to design plans

-Install decor elements such as: draping, backdrops, centrepieces, and lighting

-Ensure all items are clean, staged properly, and meet company standards

-Assist with on-site problem solving.

Teardown:

-Dismantle event set ups efficiently and carefully

-Pack and organize items for return to warehouse

-Ensure all rentals and inventory are accounted for before leaving venue

-Handle all items with care

Warehouse & Inventory Support

-Assist with unloading trails and trucks and return inventory to proper storage location

-Clean,



sort and organize decor items

-Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse space

-Report any damaged or missing items

Team & Operations

-Work Collaboratively with team members

-Follow instructions from team leaders

-Maintain a positive, professional attitude in office and in the warhouse

-Communicate effectively regarding setup changes and issues

Physical & Safety Requirements

-Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50+lbs- Stacks of chairs, tables, large bases)

-Comfortable standing, bending, and moving extended periods

-Ability to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays during May-November

-Follow all safety procedures when handling equipment, ladders, and installations

Additional Requirements:

-Must have reliable transportation (We service Windsor-Essex County)

-Must wear closed toe shoes
