DPR Landscapes is a custom landscape design and build company based in Whitby, Ontario. We create high-end outdoor spaces throughout Durham Region, including interlock driveways, patios, decks, retaining walls, outdoor living spaces and complete landscape transformations.

And we’re growing.

We’re looking for Landscape Construction Crew Members to join our team, from experienced hardscapers who can step onto a site and contribute immediately to people who are serious about learning the trade and building a career in landscape construction.

You don’t need to know everything on day one. If you’re dependable, coachable and willing to put in the work, we can teach you.

If you already have strong landscape construction experience, we want you to bring those skills to the crew and help us keep raising the standard.

What You’ll Learn and Work On

Depending on your experience, you’ll be working with and developing skills in:

- Heavy machinery and equipment operation
- Power tool operation
- Excavation and site preparation
- Grading and base preparation
- Cutting pavers and natural stone with concrete saws
- Interlock installation
- Retaining walls and steps
- Carpentry and deck construction
- Masonry
- Reading elevations, grades and project plans
- Building projects from the ground up





Inexperienced crew members will receive hands-on, on-site training from our team. But there’s an important part of that:

We’ll give you the opportunity to learn. It’s up to you to master the skills.

The people who grow fastest at DPR are the ones who ask questions, pay attention, take feedback, practice their skills and take ownership of becoming better at their trade.

If You’re Experienced

If you already know how to grade, cut, install interlock, build walls, operate equipment or work independently on a landscape construction site, we want you contributing from the start.

Your compensation will reflect the level of skill and responsibility you bring to the team.

Strong cutting and grading skills are especially valuable.

Compensation

$20.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience, skill level and demonstrated ability.

Compensation is finalized following a two-month probationary period.
