K.C Landscaping & Maintenance is looking for a skilled and dependable Equipment Operator to join our landscaping team in Okotoks. The successful candidate will operate a variety of landscaping and earthmoving equipment while supporting our crews with grading, excavation, material handling, site preparation, and general landscape construction.

Responsibilities

- Operate skid steers, mini excavators, loaders, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform grading, excavation, trenching, material loading, and site preparation.
- Assist landscape crews with construction and maintenance projects as needed.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow project plans, grades, and site instructions accurately.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Load, unload, and move materials around job sites.
- Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

- Previous experience operating landscaping or construction equipment.
- Experience with skid steers and mini excavators is an asset.
- Strong understanding of equipment safety and job-site procedures.
- Ability to read grades, elevations,



and basic site plans is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
