We are seeking an experienced Lawn Maintenance & Hardscape laborer to join our Landscaping team. As winter approaches, opportunities will expand into snow-removal.

The successful candidate will work with our Lawn Maintenance Supervisor and will also report to the Company Foreman on Hardscape projects.

In the winter months, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of high quality snow removal services to various locations in Airdrie and Calgary. The right candidate will be expected to work independently for the majority of their shifts as well as with other team members. Winter schedule will vary depending on the frequency and duration of storm and must be available to work within three hours of crews being called out.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Ability to operate a pick up truck and trailer.
- Ability to travel to Company shop in Airdrie, AB.
- Ability to operate various gas powered lawn and snow equipment in a safe and productive manner.
- Availability to work overtime hours, especially in winter service months.
- Experience in landscaping and snow removal services.
- Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions (sometimes extreme).
- Ability to safely lift 50lbs or more.

You will be expected to be on site to assist our Foreman with day to day duties when needed.




- Prepping sod installation
- Prepping mulch install
- Assisting with patio & retaining wall installs
- Assisting with fence & artificial turf installs

Qualifications:

- You MUST have an Alberta Issued Driver’s License and provide a CLEAN 3 year drivers abstract with a reliable vehicle.
- You MUST have experience driving a truck & trailer.
- Use, and maintain applicable equipment.
- Ability to lift the weight of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate with Foreman and other crew members.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently or in small teams with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.

Requirements:

- You MUST have an Alberta Issued Driver’s License and provide a CLEAN 3 year drivers abstract with a reliable vehicle.
- Must have steel-toed boots and wear them at ALL times.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
