Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and hardworking Landscaper to support our landscaping and snow removal operations. This is a hands-on position focused on assisting crew leaders and team members with daily tasks.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Landscape Crew Leader and Operations Manager and will play an important role in delivering high-quality services to our clients throughout all seasons.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist Landscape Crew Leaders and team members with landscaping and snow removal projects.
- Perform lawn care services including mowing, trimming, fertilizing, aeration, weed control, and seasonal cleanups.
- Assist with landscaping installations including sod, garden beds, shrubs, trees, patios, walkways, mulch, and topsoil.
- Perform winter services including snow shovelling, sidewalk clearing, salting, sanding, and assisting with plowing operations.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Operate basic landscaping and snow removal equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures at job sites.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting as directed.
- Participate in training exercises, safety meetings, and skill development sessions, especially during slower winter periods.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with team members and customers.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and to company's quality standards.





Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous landscaping, lawn care, or snow removal experience is an asset but not required (training provided).
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
- Valid Class G Driver’s Licence
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of performing manual labour in all weather conditions, including extreme cold and snow.
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset.

Working Conditions

- Outdoor work in all seasons and weather conditions.
- Physically demanding role in a fast-paced environment.
- Involves lifting, bending, kneeling, crouching, standing, and repetitive tasks.
- Noisy, dusty, wet, snowy, and occasionally hot environments.

Schedule

- Day shifts (8-12 hrs)
- Monday to Friday
- On-call availability during winter snow events
- Overtime, early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
