We are seeking an experienced Lathe Operator to set up and operate lathe machines to produce precision metal components according to drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate manual and/or CNC lathe machines.

- Machine metal parts according to drawings, specifications, and tolerances.

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

- Select and install appropriate cutting tools and tooling.

- Adjust machine speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters as required.

- Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality.

- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.





- Maintain a clean and safe work area.

- Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Lathe Operator or Machinist required.

- Strong knowledge of machining processes and tooling.

- Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances.

- Experience using precision measuring instruments.

- Positive mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Must be comfortable with physical work, including standing, lifting, and handling materials.

Preferred: Experience with both manual and CNC lathe machines.
