Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate, professional, and experienced Lead Esthetician with weekend availability to join our team at The Parkside Spa.

The Lead Esthetician is a key member of the spa team, responsible for delivering exceptional treatments and guest experiences while also supporting the day-to-day operations and continued growth of the spa. This position offers a balance of hands-on treatment services, team leadership, and administrative responsibilities.

Compensation: starting at $21.50 per hour + service commission, retail commission, & gratuities.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Collaborates with the Spa Manager to research, develop, and regularly update the spa’s treatment menu.
- Assists the Spa Manager in sourcing and evaluating high-quality product lines for both retail and skilled use.
- Creates, maintains, and updates treatment protocols, ensuring timely communication of changes to the team.
- Provides training to team members on new treatments, products, supplies, and changes to policies and protocols.
- Supports the Spa Manager in recruiting and selecting Estheticians by conducting practical interviews and providing candidate feedback.
- Provides the Spa Manager with employee performance feedback to support performance evaluations.




- Assists with planning and executing staff meetings.
- Monitors treatment rooms to ensure they are clean, organized, and fully stocked, conducting periodic spot checks to ensure compliance with established procedures and protocols.
- Monitors supply inventory levels.
- Works with the Spa Manager to manage treatment supply cost and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
- Ensures all team members are correctly trained in spa safety and sanitation protocols, and monitors compliance with general safety policies of hotel.
- Contributes marketing content ideas for social media and blog posts.
- Provides a range of professional spa treatments including 45, 60, and 90-minute facials, packages, body treatments, relaxation massage and pedicures in accordance with spa protocols and standards.
- Consistently deliver exceptional service that reflects The Parkside Spa’s commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace at all times, adhering strictly to health and safety standards.
- Participate actively in ongoing training sessions and spa education programs to stay current with treatment techniques,



product knowledge, and spa protocols.
- Learn and promote spa product lines and actively participate in retail sales by providing thoughtful and knowledgeable product recommendations to guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and harmonious spa experience for all guests.
- Uphold the values and professional standards of The Parkside Spa and The Parkside Hotel at all times by following policies and procedures put in place.

Qualifications:

- Certified Esthetician with completion of a recognized esthetics program.
- Previous experience in a spa environment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused mindset.
- Professional, courteous, and polished demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for wellness, self-care, and delivering top-tier spa experiences.
