Join the University of Waterloo Libraries as the Researcher Visibility and Identity Lead. Support open research initiatives and enhance persistent identifier integration in a collaborative, full-time role. As a member of the Libraries, you will oversee the development and sustainability of digital identifier systems.
This position will liaise with key university partners to enhance research impact and accessibility. Your leadership will foster collaboration among faculties and promote the adoption of PIDs in scholarly communications. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the PID service operation and strategy
- Create frameworks for PID integration
- Manage technical workflows for research identifiers
- Collaborate with campus stakeholders on PIDs
- Facilitate workshops and educational resources for PIDs Requirements:
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field
- Knowledge of bibliometrics and research workflows
- Proven ability in project management
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience in scholarly communication systems is an asset Drive cutting-edge PID projects and make a significant impact on research visibility within the academic community at Waterloo.
