Take charge of day-to-day operations as a Lead Hand in General Maintenance at the University of Calgary. Oversee maintenance and grounds teams while ensuring high standards and safety across campus facilities. In this full-time role, you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor, coordinating maintenance teams and activities to ensure optimal facility conditions.

Your leadership will support a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position requires regular contact with various departments and may involve shift work and call-outs based on operational needs. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direction and coaching to maintenance staff daily
- Inspect maintenance work to ensure safety compliance




- Conduct routine inspections of building areas for maintenance
- Monitor and organize storage areas and equipment
- Address client concerns to enhance customer satisfaction Requirements:
- High School graduation diploma required
- Experience in lead-hand or operational coordination
- Computer skills for management systems
