The Tricorp Realty team is growing and is currently seeking to fill a full-time in-house position. We’re currently looking for a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team.

The role of the Leasing Agent is to be the first point of contact for prospective tenants and a key player in maintaining high occupancy rates. You’ll be responsible for the leasing process from start to finish including advertising the available units, guiding applicants through the application process, preparing lease agreements, and ensuring a smooth move-in experience. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain organized records, and help ensure our communities remain welcoming and well-managed.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Advertising apartments available for rent on various advertising platforms including Kijiji, Zumper, etc.;

· Maintain current knowledge of available units and rental rates;

· Conduct market analysis to monitor and compare current rental rates;

· Handle all aspects of the leasing process, from application to move-in, including prepare tenant applications and leases,



provide move-in instructions;

· Handle all current tenants’ move-out inquiries and ensure proper notice is provided;

· Handle all current tenants’ change of roommates’ inquiries and process; lease assignments and sublets

· Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, applicants, and co-workers;

· Report back to property managers and keep them updated on all aspects of the job;

Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential leasing;

· Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation;

· Proficient in composing clear and professional email responses to applicants and tenants regarding inquiries, issues, and concerns;

· Proficient experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; kijiji, Zumper etc.

· Strong administrative and organizational abilities with great attention to detail;

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team;

· Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently;

· Familiarity with the Residential Tenancies Act and related regulations; and

· Commitment to performing all duties in a friendly, qualified, and respectful manner.
