We are looking for an enthusiastic, personable, and results-driven Leasing Consultant to join the team at Doma Apartments, located in the heart of Downtown Ottawa. Building is welcoming it's first tenants October first and is looking for the right leasing consultant to help us reach the leasing goals!Doma offers residents a modern urban lifestyle with a prime downtown location and a wide range of amenities. This is a property that truly sells itself, and we are looking for someone who can showcase the building, its suites, amenities, and lifestyle to prospective residents.KTS Properties has been active in commercial and residential real estate for 35 years. ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a natural people person who enjoys meeting and interacting with people every day? Are you confident, energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about sales and customer service?As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for generating interest, conducting property tours, following up with prospects, and converting inquiries and viewings into signed leases.You will be one of the key faces of Doma Apartments and will play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for prospective residents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leasing & Sales

- Respond promptly and professionally to phone, email, online, and walk-in inquiries.
- Schedule and conduct property and suite viewings.




- Qualify prospective residents and understand their needs and preferences.
- Showcase Doma's suites, amenities, location, and overall lifestyle.
- Effectively communicate the value of living at Doma Apartments.
- Follow up with prospects and convert leads into leases.
- Negotiate leases while achieving occupancy and revenue objectives.
- Prepare and conduct open houses, events, and promotional activities as required.
- Build relationships with local businesses and community contacts.
- Maintain strong knowledge of competing properties and current Ottawa rental market conditions.
- Maintain the leasing office and sales environment to company standards.

Administration

- Maintain accurate availability and traffic reports.
- Process rental applications and required documentation.
- Complete background and credit checks.
- Prepare and execute leases, assignments, and addendums.
- Communicate application decisions to prospective residents.
- Provide move-in packages and resident orientations.
- Assist with coordinating move-in elevator reservations.
- Keep leasing records and documentation accurate and up to date.

Customer Service

- Provide a professional and welcoming experience from the first inquiry through move-in.




- Maintain consistent follow-up with all prospects.
- Build positive relationships with prospective and new residents.
- Represent Doma Apartments and KTS Properties in a professional and enthusiastic manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust sales, negotiation, presentation, and closing abilities.
- Highly personable with a natural ability to build relationships.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and demonstrate cultural awareness.
- Strong knowledge of the Ottawa rental market and competing properties.
- 4+ years of residential leasing experience is preferred.
- Experience in real estate, sales, hospitality, or customer service is an asset.
