We’re currently expanding our network and looking for a Level 2 licensed mortgage agent to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Consult with clients to assess their financing needs and provide tailored mortgage solutions.
- Prepare and submit mortgage applications to lenders and negotiate competitive terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other referral sources.
- Stay up to date on current lending products, lender policies, and market conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including FSRA and AMF.
- Manage and work on private mortgage files.
- Attend occasional team meetings in Muskoka; the ability to drive to Muskoka is considered an asset.

Requirements





- Valid Mortgage Agent Licence in Ontario.
- 3+ years of experience as a Mortgage Agent.
- Preferred: Level 2 licensed; however, solid Level 1 candidates will also be considered if they are able and willing to obtain their Level 2 licence in the near future.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a client-first approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple files.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.

Nice to Have

- Existing client book or established referral network.
- Experience with mortgage CRM systems and digital tools.
- Previous experience with private mortgage lending.

Compensation

- Salary-based role with additional commission bonuses.

Pay: $45,000.00-$181,476.33 per year
